“ I have been wanting to try Himalayan Grill Waterfront for years-since it was just Himalayan Grill and located at the old Sam's Seafood location. My sisters wanted to take me to a mellow birthday dinner spot while I was visiting from out of state so I said let's try this place. It is located beyond Starbucks in the parking lot at Peter's Landing on the back side of Mother's. We had a private table in a little alcove right above the water among beautiful boats. The food was delicious-we shared the veggie thali for 2 and one of my sisters got soup. The samosas were perfect-enough crunch outside but soft inside. They are very generous with the dipping sauces. The Chai and coffee are good. Next time i'll try the Momos. Great service and no rush even though it was getting to closing time by the time we were done. We will be back! This place is a Sunset Beach gem ”

“ My weekly lunch buddy and I landed here this lunchtime. I had noticed it in Peter's Landing on my way up to Seal Beach. I was intrigued by the name and when I mentioned it to JP he said "it is one of our favorites ". I love the location, right in the Marina, looking out on the moored pleasure craft. The restaurant itself is light and bright and high-ceilings. The menu was fairly typical for South Asian food, and I was looking forward to having my sinuses cleaned out by powerful curries and spice. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful and we selected the lamb curry for me, and the beef for JP. The platters were visually beautiful, but totally lacking in heat or spice. The lamb was delicious and perfectly stewed but I tasted no curry at all. I am still giving this restaurant 5 stars. The view, the service, the ambiance, the beauty of the presentation. It is not as though there are plenty of actual Himalayans looking for the taste of their homeland to keep the shop afloat, when most of their customers in Sunset Beach are plenty white! ”

“ Wow!!!! This place has such good Indian food here in Sunset beach. We dug in before I could get good pictures! Still, review below by what we got: The Krazy Naan was recommended to us and it is the BEST naan. Don't bother with another one, this is just so amazing and unique. We got the mixed appetizer and it was delicious. Such a good taster of everything, the samosas are amazing. All the curries were so good, and they do a spice level 1-10, so there is a lot of room for choosing a level good for your group versus the normal mild, medium, hot. The server was super helpful about it-- service was phenomenal overall. He gave good recommendations and was very kind. Service great as aforementioned, and the location is fantastic! Great view of the marina. Will definitely be coming back!! ”
